Summer Glau

 The first time she appeared on television was as a ballerina in a guest role in the 2002 episode of the television series Angel. The director who spotted her was JossWhedon, who ultimately was cast as River Tam in the critically-acclaimed TV series Firefly. The role she also reprised for Serenity's feature film sequel. Glau has previously attempted to audition for the role of a Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssaenrile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but was defeated by the actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau was in the episode "Love Conquer Al" of the TV series Cold Case. She played Shelly, a high school senior in the episode Sleepover. She also appeared in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " as well as season 2 of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girlfriend of Jeremy Erhart). Glau was the paranoid schizophrenia recurrence Tess Doerner in season 2 of The 4400. She became an established character in season 3 and beyond. Mammoth was also her horror comedy role. Glau was also part of ABC Family Television's movie The Initiation of Sarah. Glau played Cameron Phillips in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. This series debuted January 13 in 2008. The 7th episode of the series, "The Demon Hand", featured several scenes that featured Glau in character as Cameron is seen dancing ballet. In the second season's episodes "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young, Cameron's human doppelganger. Glau also appeared as herself in an episode in 2009 of the CBS situation comedy The Big Bang Theory
