Lucy Liu is an American actor, voice actress, director producer, and vocalist. Beautiful, intelligent and gifted actress, she is an inspiration to Asian actors aspiring to be big stars in Hollywood. Her fame was boosted by a number of popular early characters in television the series. The most notable was the Ally McBeal series, where she portrayed Ling Woo the villainous character. After her popularity, she was offered significant parts for her in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000).
